Yes. The Begehung.pro mobile app is fully offline-capable, so you can conduct complete inspections without any internet connection. All captured data, photos and notes are stored locally on your device and automatically synchronised as soon as a connection is available again. This keeps you fully operational in basements, on construction sites or in rural areas.

The Begehung.pro mobile app runs natively on Android smartphones and tablets as well as on iPhones and iPads. For evaluation and report creation at your desk, the web app is also available and works in all modern browsers, with no installation required.

With the Standard package you work with our proven default template and can apply your own logo there. This covers most use cases. If you need your own chapter structure, custom layout or your full CI reflected in the report, that is part of the Full Integration package: we work with you to create a custom evaluation profile so your reports match your corporate design exactly.

Your inspections, photos and reports are stored exclusively in databases located in Frankfurt am Main (Germany). The application infrastructure (web servers, AI processing) runs in the EU (Belgium), without inspection data being transferred there. Transmission is encrypted via TLS 1.3 and storage uses AES-256. A data processing agreement in line with Art. 28 GDPR is standard. Important: your data is not used for training or fine-tuning AI models. This is contractually assured in our terms and conditions.

During your contract you can export inspections at any time, individually or in bulk, as PDF or PDF/A (for statutory retention requirements) with all metadata embedded (timestamps, inspector, geolocation, signatures). We also offer a raw data export as JSON or CSV with all defects, actions and references. After cancellation you have another 90 days of read-only access to your tenant for self-export. We extend this on request. Important: Begehung.pro is your working tool, not your long-term archive. For statutory retention obligations (for example 10 years for fire-safety documentation or 5 to 6 years for occupational safety), we recommend continuously archiving each completed inspection to your own system.

Begehung.pro has been developed at AppBaumeister Kollektiv since 2026, that is by Tobias Boehm and a project-based network of independent specialists. We are bootstrapped, with no investors, and therefore free from pressure to pursue short-term exits or pivots. In the unlikely case of an extended absence of the founder, a backup person holds administrative access to the platform, ensuring support and maintenance continuity. Your data remains exportable at any time; the architecture is not dependent on a single person. Customers with stricter compliance requirements can request an extended availability or contingency plan.

Standard costs €59 per user per month at a 24-month term with annual prepayment. At a 12-month term with quarterly prepayment it is €69 per user and month, month-to-month €89. Full Integration adds a one-time setup fee starting at €9,999 (typically €9,999 to €50,000 depending on scope) on top of the regular Standard per-user license, so the recurring license stays the same. As a low-threshold entry, we already convert your existing Word template into an industry profile starting at €499. A complete test run including export is free and non-committal.

Standard covers most use cases: pre-built industry profiles (construction management, occupational safety, fire safety and more), your own logo on PDF or DOCX exports, photo geolocation, speech-to-text, automatic draft report and both mobile and web use. You need Full Integration as soon as you want customisations Standard does not cover: a custom report template (own chapter structure, layout, CI beyond just the logo), integration with DMS or ERP, custom industry profiles with your own inspection items, SSO or Active Directory, or custom escalation and approval workflows. Important: the recurring per-user and per-month license stays the same as Standard, only the one-time setup is added.

Yes. The Full Integration package includes connecting your existing systems, whether DMS, ERP or other specialised applications. We analyse the requirements together with you and handle the integration. With the Standard package you can send your finished reports via email and export them as PDF or DOCX.

You set up your own regulations, checklists and inspection items in Begehung.pro, whether industry-specific frameworks (DGUV, TRBS, ASR, MVStättVO, VOB, DIN), internal compliance requirements or your own standards. The AI checks every inspection against exactly that database. This way, content and currency stay with the team that owns them anyway (your compliance or domain function). Begehung.pro provides the mechanism, not the legal interpretation. Professional and legal responsibility for every assessment remains with the user. If you do not want to build your own regulation library, the standard industry profiles serve as a starting point. In the Full Integration package, we set up a custom profile with your specific regulations together.

The Begehung.pro AI transcribes your spoken audio notes and generates coherent prose text for your report. Your photos are embedded directly, including location and your own markings, but without any automated image analysis. Processing remains transparent: every AI-generated text section is clearly marked as such and can be edited or overwritten by you at any time. You always retain full control over the final result.

For each client or company you get a dedicated workspace with its own defect history, its own regulations and its own report layout. One login, clear separation. Reports can be delivered per client in the respective corporate design, for example with the logo and layout of the company you support. From our user interviews: up to 12 small and medium-sized companies in one account, without anything getting mixed up.

Yes. In the follow-up inspection, open defects and areas are automatically taken over from the previous inspection. The effectiveness check compares the previous status with the current one, so a single inspection becomes a traceable inspection series. This addresses exactly the pain point internal safety officers describe regularly: starting practically from scratch on the next inspection.

You keep the familiar look and gain the automation. In the Full Integration package we go further and rebuild your full report structure one to one, including custom chapter logic and CI. In the Standard package you use our proven template and can apply your logo there; the Word export remains directly editable.

You differentiate every observation into defect, note or recommendation. This is particularly important for external safety officers who see themselves as advisors rather than just ticket generators. The report reflects this differentiation, so not every observation has to become a mandatory action. Where needed, you assign an action based on the STOP principle; where a note is enough, it stays a note.
