The Begehung.pro mobile app is built to work offline, for basements, construction sites and rural areas: inspections run entirely without an internet connection, and all captured data, photos and notes are stored locally on your device and synchronised automatically as soon as a connection is available again. The mobile app is still in preparation and is not available in any store. Today you work in the web app in your browser, which does need an internet connection.

The Begehung.pro web app runs in any modern browser without installation, on laptops, desktops and tablets. The mobile app for Android and iOS is in preparation and is not available in any store.

The license includes our proven default template, and you can apply your own logo there. This covers most use cases. If you need your own chapter structure, custom layout or your full CI reflected in the report, you add that as a custom integration: we work with you to create a custom evaluation profile so your reports match your corporate design exactly. Your checklists and legacy reports, by contrast, you import yourself in the web app at no extra charge; the one-time fee from €499, on top of the running per-user monthly license, covers only the migration of an existing Word report template.

Your inspections, photos and reports are stored in databases located in Frankfurt am Main (Germany). Processing takes place in Germany and the EU: the application servers run on Google Cloud Run in Belgium, and AI processing runs on Google Vertex AI in Frankfurt am Main. Our subprocessor list shows which providers are involved and where they process data. Transmission is encrypted via TLS 1.3 and storage uses AES-256. A data processing agreement in line with Art. 28 GDPR is standard. Important: your data is not used for training or fine-tuning AI models. This is contractually assured in our terms and conditions.

During your contract you can export inspections at any time, individually or in bulk, as PDF or PDF/A (for statutory retention requirements) with all metadata embedded (timestamps, inspector, geolocation, signatures). We also offer a raw data export as JSON or CSV with all defects, actions and references. After the contract ends we keep your data available for export for 90 days. We extend this on request. Important: Begehung.pro is your working tool, not your long-term archive. For statutory retention obligations (for example 10 years for fire-safety documentation or 5 to 6 years for occupational safety), we recommend continuously archiving each completed inspection to your own system.

Begehung.pro has been developed at AppBaumeister Kollektiv since 2026, that is by Tobias Boehm and a project-based network of independent specialists. We are bootstrapped, with no investors, and therefore free from pressure to pursue short-term exits or pivots. In the unlikely case of an extended absence of the founder, a backup person holds administrative access to the platform. Support and maintenance therefore do not depend on a single individual. Your data remains exportable at any time; the architecture is not dependent on a single person. Customers with stricter compliance requirements can request an extended availability or contingency plan. During the beta there is no committed availability target, so such a plan is agreed case by case.

The license costs €69 per user and month on a 12-month term (billed quarterly in advance) or €89 per user and month month-to-month. The feature set is identical on both terms, only the commitment differs. All prices are net and exclude VAT. Custom integrations cost a one-time fee from €499 on top of the recurring per-user monthly license; this covers the migration of an existing Word report template. Deeper customizations such as a DMS, ERP or SSO integration start at €4,999 one-time, likewise on top of the per-user monthly license. A complete test run through to sealing is free and non-committal. We set up your access for it after the meeting.

The license covers most use cases: your own checklists, created by hand or imported from your documents in the web app, your own logo on PDF or DOCX exports, speech-to-text, automatic draft report and both mobile and web use. Every user gets this feature set, regardless of the term. You need a custom integration as soon as you want customisations the standard scope does not cover: a custom report template (own chapter structure, layout, CI beyond just the logo), integration with DMS or ERP, custom industry profiles with your own inspection items, SSO or Active Directory, or custom escalation and approval workflows. Important: the recurring per-user and per-month license stays unchanged, only the one-time integration fee is added.

We analyse the requirements together with you and build the connection; it is billed once and comes on top of the recurring license. Without a connection, you send your finished reports via email and export them as PDF or DOCX.

You create your checklists in Begehung.pro yourself, with the inspection items that apply to you: industry-specific frameworks (DGUV, TRBS, ASR, MVStättVO, VOB, DIN), internal compliance requirements or your own standards. You do not have to retype existing checklists: you upload them in the web app as PDF, Word or Excel, the AI proposes a name, a description, the inspection items and the source addresses named in the document, and you review the proposal before adopting it. Each item can carry source links to the relevant references. During the inspection you work through the items and record for each one whether it passed; you can add a comment for the report to any item. Every checklist is versioned continuously: a new revision only applies to new inspections, while ongoing and completed inspections keep the revision they started with. This way, content and currency stay with the team that owns them anyway (your compliance or domain function). Begehung.pro provides the mechanism, not the legal interpretation. Professional and legal responsibility for every assessment remains with the user. As a custom integration, we build your checklists with your inspection items together with you.

The Begehung.pro AI transcribes your spoken audio notes and generates coherent prose text for your report. Your photos are embedded directly, including your own markings. Processing remains transparent: every AI-generated text section is clearly marked as such and can be edited or overwritten by you at any time. You always retain full control over the final result.

For each client or company you get a dedicated workspace with its own defect history. One login, clear separation. Several client companies run in one account without anything getting mixed up.

Yes. In the follow-up inspection, open defects and areas are automatically taken over from the previous inspection. The effectiveness check compares the previous status with the current one, so a single inspection becomes a traceable inspection series. This addresses exactly the pain point internal safety officers describe regularly: starting practically from scratch on the next inspection.

No. You import your checklists and your legacy reports yourself, at no extra charge: checklists via the checklist import, finished reports via the report import, both as PDF, Word or Excel in the web app. Starting at €499 one-time on top of the running per-user monthly license, we take over your existing Word report template only, so your reports keep their familiar look. As a more extensive integration we go further and rebuild your full report structure one to one, including custom chapter logic and CI. Without any add-on you use our proven template and can apply your logo there; the Word export remains directly editable.

No. You upload an existing report in the web app as PDF, Word or Excel, one file per import, up to 50 MB. The AI extracts customer, contacts, areas, defects, actions and the embedded photos. You review the result in two steps: first the target, meaning customer, project and series, then the content. Nothing enters your data unreviewed. The inspection is adopted as a draft, and you seal it yourself. If you have five legacy reports, you import five times.

You differentiate every observation into defect, note or recommendation. This is particularly important for external safety officers who see themselves as advisors rather than just ticket generators. The report reflects this differentiation, so not every observation has to become a mandatory action. Where needed, you assign an action based on the STOP principle; where a note is enough, it stays a note.

The license costs €69 per user and month on a 12-month term, so for five people that is 5 × €69 net per month. Month-to-month it is €89 per user and month. There is no team or volume tier and there are no quotas; every user gets the identical feature set. Today every user works in their own workspace. That depends on your current rework. We calculate with 60% less rework per inspection, deliberately conservative rather than a best case. An external safety officer with twelve inspections a month, two hours of rework per inspection and an hourly rate of €95 recovers the license cost after roughly three weeks. At a lower hourly rate it takes correspondingly longer. Those values are the preset for the external safety officer role in the pricing calculator in the pricing section; other roles start from different values. There you can run the numbers with your own figures, including hourly rate and number of users. If the calculation shows no gain at your figures, the calculator says so too.
