Defect history across inspections

Every finding is classified by type, as defect, note, recommendation or observation, with responsible person and deadline. Frequently asked questions from fire safety officers

Yes. The records contain inspection date, inspector ID, inspected areas, identified findings with classification as defect, note, recommendation or observation, assigned actions with responsible person, deadline, and status. All data is stored audit-proof with timestamps. The requirements of DGUV Information 205-003, vfdb 12-09/01 and VdS 3111 are identical in wording and therefore covered.

In German data centres. We are a European vendor without US corporate ties and no access via the US CLOUD Act. We provide the DPA per Art. 28 GDPR as a ready-to-sign PDF. The summary of technical and organisational measures per Art. 32 GDPR and the list of subprocessors are available at /avv and /subprozessoren. Our technical and organisational measures are aligned with ISO 27001 and BSI C5. We are not officially certified against either standard.

You control retention in line with your obligations. Fire safety logbook and inspection records typically 10 years, evacuation drill protocols at least 10 years, fire safety concept and records of the fire prevention inspection for the life of the building. During the contract term you can export every inspection as PDF/A into your own archive at any time. After cancellation you have another 90 days of read-only access to collect the final export, longer on request.

Yes. Offline capture is the default, sync happens as soon as coverage is back. For Ex-zones where the tablet cannot enter, the full-integration package adds a paper workflow: you print the inspection profile as a paper template, take notes by hand, and capture them on the tablet immediately after leaving the zone.

Which version applies to you depends on the federal state. The revision is being rolled out unevenly. In Begehung.pro you maintain the inspection profiles and checklists yourself. You can keep a transitional variant and the new variant in parallel and decide per site when to switch to the new version.
